  1. Note to self - if I ever open a brewery, come up with a weird sounding name since it seems to play a pretty large part in the selection criteria.

We're halfway home and I'm realizing that drinking a beer a day is a pretty big commitment. I haven't missed a day, but I'm a little out of my comfort zone of degenerate weekend binge drinker.

I'm digging this so far though.

Tony - are all the days/beers preloaded and they get created right at midnight? I can't imagine you've entered them exactly at midnight every night.

  2. Germany's #1 draft beer. Does this mean it's the Miller Lite of Deutschland? And is that good or bad? I'll let you know at 7 pm.

Just got some odd looks from a couple of co-workers as I laughed uncontrollably reading Dave's Boddington'(')s recap.

Also, Tony, when you're bored, can you take the apostrophe out of Lagunitas on the left? Lagunitas is a town in California. I think Lagunita is some hot hispanic chick. At least that's what I'm thinking.

  3. Heineken. Great. I hate Heineken. I hate this beer. I'll finish it but I won't like it. Rosemary refused to even have her customary sip and said she would not endanger our unborn child with this crap. If this is Germany's #1 draft beer, I can see why we won the war. At least this should shut all you lager whiners up for a while. Grade F-. 13th out of 13. Bellhaven's will be hosting a victory party at 9 pm to celebrate moving out of the cellar. It's all good. Tomorrow is Allagash and I've got a 1000 word treatise prepared on my long history with Allagash. It involves drunkenness, heartbreak, and more drunkenness.

  4. Wow what a let down!!! I read the write up and was so happy to finally get a great draught/lager and to have the #1 in all of Germany!! I couldn't wait and then I poured. No head? Oh well. Then I tasted it and this awful after taste? And then I realized that was the only thing I could taste was the after taste. It literally has no taste compared to the stuff we have been drinking. Yuckolla!

    Give it a 5 out of 10

  5. Best and most drinkable of the beers so far.

Doesn't taste at all like Heineken to me or I would hate it. Heineken may be the worst beer on earth.

  6. Definitely not worth the calories. I would rather drink a natty light. Rating: 3

  7. Surprising to me but I liked this beer. Smooth taste with not an overpowering aftertaste. Wouldn't be forced to drink this one 'cause it is decent.

  8. Tastes like Amstel Light, which I like, so I also like this. But agree it is a little bland and I would prefer to just buy Amstel Light instead.

  10. jesus christ, uh, I mean TIM TEBOW!! - why does my wife's goddamn name keep posting. Original post:

I'm a fan and this is not even close to tasting like Heineken. I really enjoyed this one and could easily see myself pounding a 12 pack. Really liked it.

    Grade: Hammered

  11. Whoever asked(yes I'm too lazy to scroll up) if this was the Miller LIte of Germany is close...this is sometimes called "the Budweiser of Germany." And that is why Germany is better than us. This beer doesn't rock your world, but it is a solid, drinkable, refreshing beer, plain and simple.

  12. This beer taste like Miller Lite or Bud Light to me. Very drinkable and I could drink a bunch of these in one sitting. Nothing crazy here, just a good ole' session beer. I'll give this beer a 8 out of 10, B-

  13. Of course this is your favorite BMoore! It tastes like Bud Light, except not as good. Drinkable but I wouldn't choose it again. Check minus.

  14. Doesn't taste like Heineken to me either, tastes more like the German version of Bud Light. Definitely the lightest and easiest to drink thus far. Although there is nothing special about this beer, I could enjoy a few of these.
