This big, roasty stout takes flavor to the extreme. We aren’t afraid to use plenty of rich roasted barley and a mountain of hops to give this full-bodied stout that little extra something you’ve been looking for in a beer.
Food pairing: Hamburgers, steaks, shepherd’s pie and other hearty endeavors are best with our Out of Bounds Stout.
Availability: Year round. Six-pack bottles, cases, 1/6BBL and 1/2BBL kegs.

Another good beer. Katy and Casey since I'm almost positive you won't like this beer feel free to pass it to me since I'm done early.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this beer- the best so far. It's definitely rich, but smooth and I like the caramel taste. If I'm in the mood for a stout, I'd buy it over other stouts.
ReplyDeleteFirst I hate stouts and thought oh great another beer I won't finish. I took and a sip and was pleasantly surprised. This was the first stout that i was able to finish. Not bad. It was very creamy, thick and did not taste like motor oil. I guess I like summer stouts!
ReplyDeleteI like Heineken better. I thought the out of bounds was fitting given that it is game 6 tonight...Heat up on Celts 53-42.
ReplyDeleteFor a stout, this was not bad at all. A distinct taste, not overpowering. I dig it. Psyched for the DC Brau tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI generally need to be in the right mood for a stout, and preferably leaning against a nice oak bar with the Pogues coming out of the juke. Well no Pogues, but apparently I was in the right mood. This is a nice stout and it lives up to the billing with a roasty dry finish. A quality beer.
ReplyDeleteAlso - according to the description above - apparently the Colorado state fair is better than most.
This beer is horrendous. If my drinking life was confined to drinking this stank beer, I would just go sober.
ReplyDeleteI don't get stouts - is the basic premise - "let's see just how gawdawful we can make a beer taste?"
Gotta love a Pogues comment in a beer blog.
Reading the label made me start planning our early 2013 ski trip. Not sure this fit the summer category but I enjoyed it, bring on #8!
ReplyDeleteAnother winter beer snuck into the summer beer list, but i'm not complaining I really enjoyed this beer. The only negative thing I have to say about this beer is that it taste to close to Guiness, but if that' the only knock on it, then i'm fine with. Come winter, i'll be grabbing a sixer of this a few times and sit back and enjoy the snow.
ReplyDelete9 out of 10
ReplyDeleteI'm just not a stout person. This beer, and stouts in general, just don't do it for me. It's drinkable, just not enjoyable. 5 out of 10, C-. Katy is not even attempting this beer, which may eliminate her from future 24 Days of Beer tastings...
ReplyDeleteTony save a sip for me and when I get home I will confirm I don't like it. Then I will give mine to Joe Garcia.
ReplyDeleteNow we are talking!! This is a beer that suits my fancy!! Keep the Stouts and Porters coming!!
ReplyDeleteGuinness is the only stout worth drinking. This wasn't bad but see previous sentence for my summary.
ReplyDeleteNice dark color and aroma. I liked this stout. Just not sure if it gets a B+ or an A-. I was eating Chipotle while I downed this guy which may have thrown off my taste buds. I need to go get another couple.
