  1. Already knocked this one out. Of the 'summer' ales, this one was my favorite. The question now becomes, keep drinking (its 2pm)? You're right, stupid question....Bar's Open!

  2. AGreed, best of the bunch so far. Really enjoyed this but maybe the heat and humidty had something do with it. Needed something to quest my thirst! Really could taste the citrus after taste.

    Rating 7.8

  3. I'm going to make a concerted effort to be positive about today's beer. So I will say that I like the baseball-themed label.

Bolts - the bar has been open for almost 6 hours now - are you still drinking?

  4. This beer is perfect for me and Tony. The only thing that would make it better is if I poured it all over my chest and let Tony drink the beer right off my hot body.

    1. OK, so what happened? Did you spill the beer all over your body? Did you actually taste any of it? Or did Tony take a cold shower?

  5. I was really looking forward to a cold beer after a busy, hot day. I was not disappointed with this one. I get a very slight fruity taste at the start of each sip. I know the description says lemon, but I taste a little peach (unless this is a delayed aftertaste from the nasty beer the other night). I find myself sipping this slowly because I don't want the bottle to end- too bad Joe already finished his. I'd definitely buy this again. The best part is the "xoxo" on the top label!

  6. Anyone remember the December beers when the blog was always refreshed at midnight for next day? I do, those were the good olde days. Trying to scratch my head and figure out what's changed in Tony's life since then...

  7. This was a really a really good beer. It had the citriusy flavor that Ive come to expect with the summer beers yet the heaviness of the beer I like. Definatly want some more of these. 10 out of 10.

It appears that Mrs. Woskobunik has Mr. Woskobunik busy hanging picture frames instead of allowing him to update this blog.

  8. Drinkable but kinda meh. Don't think I would find an occasion to buy this one again.

  9. I admit I expected more based on the name. Ro decided it tasted like cherries. I think that's just the malt and hops and I did like it. I'd never turn one down but probably won't add it to my regular rotation.

  10. Easily my favorite "summer" beer so far. It is much hoppier than most summers, but still smooth and crisp with a floral scent. A dry finish, but not overwhelming.

  11. This started off as an OK beer for me, but the more and more I drank the more I liked it. It had a distinct taste that reminded me of the Bell's Christmas ale from the winter tasting. Agreed this is easily the best summer beer so far. 8.5 out of 10, B+

  13. I had high hopes for this beer. I really like the label and the description but I was let down by the taste. The aftertaste is too strong and I would not buy it or drink it again.

  14. I agree with Scott Shepherd... best of the light bodied beers so far. Nice little funk in the flavor profile, but finishes clean. Could drink a lot of these on a hot day. I'll give it an A.

  15. Absolutely my favorite label of all the beers. And good news, I believe it is also my favorite beer! I was a bigger fan than I thought I would be.
